My classes are now back in the studio (COVID restrictions allowing) and all studio classes are also available via zoom.
Zoom Classes use a mix of video and audio instruction and as you become familiar with classes, you will be able to close your eyes and take time to enjoy a little break from your screen (especially important if you are required to use a screen for much of your day!).
- Zoom Safety Notes/Equipment: –
- Chair Yoga Classes: Please have a dining chair (no arms) to sit on & place your chair on a rug, carpet or yoga mat to make sure that the chair doesn’t slide.
- Hatha Yoga Classes: Please use a yoga mat (for your safety)
- You might need a yoga belt (a dressing gown belt / scarf / tie are perfect substitutes)
- Wear comfy clothes / yoga clothes – in the interest of avoiding wardrobe malfunctions Pj’s are best avoided (I know, it’s tempting when you’re at home!!)
- Make sure you have space around you to move safely.
- The class content is offered in stages – work at the stage that is right for you
- In clicking on the links to attend the classes you are confirming that you understand that for any periods of time throughout a remote session during which you move off screen or are outside of the teacher’s view, whether intentionally or not, no liability will arise on the part of the teacher
- Practicing remotely relies on our internet provider – which is mostly brilliant. However, when things go unexpectedly on this front, we have to let go of our expectations with an attitude of non-attachment as there is always another time.
- Studio Safety Notes/Equipment: –
- COVID: Please don’t attend a class in the studio if you have any COVID symptoms or have been in contact with someone who might. You can always join via zoom.
- Hatha Yoga Classes: Please bring your own yoga mat (for your safety)
- You might need a yoga belt (a dressing gown belt / scarf / tie are perfect substitutes)
- Wear warm comfy yoga clothes – The windows will be open – wear layers to make sure you are warm enough!
- Space – Maximum of 6 people per class to make sure you have space around you to move safely.
- The class content is offered in stages – work at the stage that is right for you
- Students will be joining remotely and this relies on our internet provider – which is mostly brilliant. However, when things go unexpectedly on this front, we have to let go of our expectations with an attitude of non-attachment and be patient.
I will be in both our real/virtual studio 15 mins before the class to greet you and iron out any technical issues.
